Next Phase of Parkside of Old Town Rising On West Division

Redevelopment of Chicago’s Cabrini Green neighborhood continues on the city’s north side, and Holsten Real Estate Development Corporation’s Parkside of Old Town project continues to grow. This particular project, at 459 West Division Street, will bring an eclectic mix of dwelling options when ready for occupation in the winter 2016.

At completion, the Landon Bone Baker Architects-design will include 106 dwelling units in total, spread across 3 distinct structures: the 9-story tower, a 12-unit townhouse row, and a 3-story building facing the townhouses. 36 of those units will be replacement housing for former Cabrini residents, 27 will be affordable units, and 43 will be market-rate units.

We stopped by last week to watch the project’s general contractor Linn-Mathes do their thing and brought back a few photos as keepsakes:
